What have you accomplished?

I have made the libguide for the HADC.

What are your next steps?

My next steps are to perhaps add a page just listing some literature that might be helpful for the final project in ARH-295 Haitian Art and Visual Culture, as well as meeting with Dr. Moïse to see what she thinks about the libguide.

What issues or obstacles have you encountered that you have resolved or that you are still thinking through?

One issue I found is that most libguides are very similar to each other, and so I am trying to think of what I can add to the ARH-295 Haitian Art & Vis Cult libguide that will be helpful as well as unique. I might think about adding in a page for exhibitions of Haitian art. Another issue I am running into is the fact that there are not a lot of databases/journals out there that are specifically for Haitian studies.

What lingering questions do you have about the project or about your next steps?

I do not have questions, but I am excited to embark on the next part of my work this semester which will involve ArcGIS.
